ANNA WANS — A story of grace. A true story.

Creating Anna Wans isn't the glamorous dream of a girl who fell in love with fabrics. It's a calling. A visceral need. A response to an inner voice that said, "You must continue the story."
I didn't grow up with fairy tales. I grew up with prayers.
My grandmother was gentle strength. The one who held her family together without ever raising her voice. Her life wasn't easy, but she prayed. She believed. She loved. That was her power.
And that's what I wear today in every Anna Wans piece.
His legacy was invisible. And yet, it is what weighs most heavily in my life: faith, dignity, compassion, grace .
Not the one we flaunt. The one we live, when no one is looking.
“It is through us that values are perpetuated; as long as we pass on this heritage, our history will not end.”
Fashion? No. The language of my story.
I didn't "choose" fashion. It was already a part of me.
At home, the women dressed with intention. The wax fabric vibrated against their shoulders like soft armor.
Congolese sapology taught me that dressing well means making a statement. It means refusing to be forgotten.
I realized I could blend all of that: my roots, my faith, my creativity. And that each dress could become a page of history.
The logo is a statement.
It's not design for the sake of beauty. It's about meaning.
It reflects the values that drive me and the love that my grandmother knew how to offer.
The infinity symbol embodies what she passed on to us: timeless qualities that still live on through every piece by Anna Wans.
She lived by this proverb:
“Sapato ata ko etengama, lokolo ekoboya te.”
Even when worn, the shoe remains true to the foot.
And this name, Anna Wans, is anything but a simple brand name. It's my way of saying thank you. Of telling her that I am perpetuating what she gave me through what I do.
What you carry is a living memory.
Today, I see Anna Wans as a movement. A way to convey, to enhance, to warm hearts. Each piece is designed as a message, each collection as a chapter in this story that I write with her, for her, and for all those who identify with these values.
Because deep down, as long as grace , compassion and love find a space to express themselves, then our story will never cease to live.
